What do you like best about the Willow Project? The people! Because everyone does everything, we are a relatively small group without a support staff. Unlike some of the other clinics, everyone has the opportunity to participate in clinic, publicity, events and any other projects we may have along the way. As a result, we develop bonds of friendship and work well with one another as a cohesive unit. What is your most memorable Willow Project experience? There are so many! But filling our cars to capacity with coats during the coat project would have to be one of the top. Also talking with the homeless during clinic. What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you? It means being in a closely knit group striving to achieve a common goal to improve the health and well-being of the homeless. Give an interesting story or fact about yourself? I have big tonsils. This means I cannot eat a lot of rice. That makes me sad. I am also afraid of drowning but I love snorkeling and attempting to surf. What fruit are you and why? An overripe pomegranate. Because I’m soft and squishy on the outside, but on the inside I’m a complicated person with a multifaceted personality. What do you really think about Ryan & Jarae? Ryan is really named Richard. He pretends to be all studious, but he's actually a party animal. My name is actually Cynthia. Jarae is our ringleader. |
