What do you like best about the Willow Project?

The Willow Project enables me to interact with a unique population and work with fellow undergraduates towards improving the healthcare the homeless receive.

What is your most memorable Willow Project experience?

My most memorable experience dealt with my first clinic shift. A deaf man came into clinic and everyone seemed confused as to how to effectively communicate with this man. I attempted to converse by writing on paper but the patient was illiterate. Communicating with this man took the entire clinic and I was left wondering what obstacles all homeless must overcome to attain healthcare.

What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you?

Being involved with the Willow Project means that I am actively involved in learning how underserved populations receive healthcare. I also believe the experiences I have gained while working with the homeless will shape my attitude towards medicine as I pursue a career in this field.

Give an interesting story or fact about yourself?

I am a member of Davis Players Society.

What fruit are you and why?

I would be a pineapple because no other fruit has as much fun as the pineapple does. .

What do you really think about Ryan & Jarae?

I love Ryan and Jarae. They are the best co-managers ever!
