The Oklahoma state is a quiet, peaceful town, it is home to a lot of farm products and produce, but one more thing it is also home for is the widely recognized Mathis Brothers Furniture. This business is operated by two brothers named Bill and Larry Mathis, but the company is not entirely their own, they are the second line of owners; it was originally founded and owned by two brothers since 1955. Today, it is widely recognized as the epitome of all things home furniture and furnishings, thanks to the hard work of the two brothers Bud and Don, the company has reached greater heights throughout the 50 years in the industry.

The specialty of the brand revolve around selling furniture and furnishings such as mattresses and others, apart from producing their very own line up of products, they also carry some of the most globally known brands in their store. It all began when Bud and Don had a thirst to put their passion into profit, during their younger years they have always known that they can have a future with selling these. Armed with the brightest ideas in the field, they went on to pursue their dream and opened their very first own store in their birthplace Oklahoma City.

But, the partnership of Bud and Don didn’t last for eternity; Bud on the other hand, wanted to pursue other business opportunities where he can expand his skills and knowledge. Don, the other brother understood the endeavor Bud wanted, and by the time Bud had left the business completely to Don, the Mathis Brothers Trademark then became full property of Don Mathis. Over the years Don continued to strive hard to keep the business running smoothly, and as time passes Don had two sons named Larry and Bill. The two younger generation brothers grew up watching their father operate and handle the company, and somehow instinctively Bill and Larry shares the same passion with their father.

In 1998, when the two younger brothers came of legal age, they decided to buy the company from Don their father, Don went with the idea gladly and transferred the rights to his sons. The Mathis Brothers Furniture trademark became ownership of Bill and Larry, and it was the younger brothers’ idea that attracted more customers with their “Everyday Marked-Down Prices” today, the company still remains very stable and still operated by Bill and Larry.
